(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Monday, Aug. 24 LRHS will hold its annual swim team tryouts at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
In order to participate, every swimmer’s temperature must be taken and must be under 100.4°F.
Additionally, hand sanitizer will be given to all coaches in a large spray bottle for athletes and coaches to use.
Head Coach Steve Lubrino said, “This season will definitely be different as there may be more dual meets than usual, but we will work through and still have a great year.”

As for many fall sports, the issue of whether spectators will be allowed is still being discussed.
Lubrino said, “I still do not know if spectators are allowed, I am hoping we will be able to have them as I know my team loves having them there.”
The season will continue for as long as possible.
The schedule is still being finalized, but as of now practices are Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 4:00p.m.
