Mustangs Ahead- Jenelle Bayor

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS girls varsity basketball is currently ranked sixth in Florida and 40th in the nation according to MaxPreps.

Junior Kaylee Kehler said, “I would say that our season is going great. We are playing as a team, improving every game, and having fun on the court.”

The Lady Mustangs are currently on a six-game winning streak and won their game Monday night against Venice High School 55-32.

Senior Taylor Young thought, “Learning, playing, progressing, and winning as a team has been one of the most rewarding things in my last high school season.”

Their next game will be an away game on Wednesday, Dec. 9 against North Port High School.

Senior Jordan Brown said, “Our team has really come together this year to perform as one unit. I am beyond proud of how we play with such drive, which is what helps us succeed on the court.”
