Csenge Csicsek – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Mustang Players are preparing the show Mamma Mia! in the LRHS auditorium. Music and lyrics, based on the Swedish group ABBA, are by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Stig Anderson. The book is by Catherine Johnson and originally conceived by Judy Craymer.
Official LRHS show dates are –
Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 8, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 15, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Sophomore Aldan Rossnagel is in the show.
“I’m super excited to be performing,” said Rossnagel. “Production is going swell, like a constant fun rollercoaster. ABBA songs are on constant repeat in my head 24/7.”
The LRHS theatre department has been working very hard to produce the show and building the set. Tickets are being sold for various prices.
Senior Julia Hatton is excited to watch the performance.
“Everyone’s talking about it and I can’t wait to see it soon,” said Hatton.
