(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Mustangs football team narrowly lost their spring game. They lost 17-15.
“Our team fought hard last night. They battled all night and showed a lot of promise for this fall season. We made some mistakes that we can fix as we head into the fall season,” said LRHS head coach Scott Paravicini.
Paravicini also added, “I was proud of the tenacity that we played with last night. When we can continue what we started this spring, we will set ourselves up for the best possible fall season.”
With two scores down at halftime, the Mustangs still showed determination and battled on both sides of the ball the entire game.

“This summer will be an important one for us,” said Paravicini. “We will have our off-season conditioning program that will allow our coaching staff more time to establish a relationship with our team. It will also allow us time to get stronger and faster to help us prepare for the fall season.”
Paravicini highlighted players after the game saying, “C.J. McRae had a special night running the ball. Jayden Munoz had a fantastic night at the safety position. Simon Freed had a 95-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown and Levi Freed had an interception.”
