The LRHS Mini Mustangs class of 2023 graduates

Sydney Oostendorp– Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Wednesday the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Mini Mustangs graduated from the LRHS preschool program.

These Minis have been preparing for this day for a while now, they have practiced their walk, waves, and their Mini Mustang song, which they sang to all of the guests who came and watched.

Mini Mustang “Jack” wants to be a policeman

The young Mustangs were all dressed in caps and gowns. The girls were in white while the boys were in green.

Parents and siblings of the Mini Mustangs filled the chairs, ready to cheer and celebrate the big day.

Mini Mustang Jack said, “My favorite thing was playing with Mr. Potato head.” Many children enjoyed playing with toys and one another.

Jack wants to become a police officer when he grows older.

Jack’s mother said, “I am so proud of him, and I know he will do great things in the future”.

Around the room there were self-portraits of the Mini Mustangs which they created themselves in their gowns. They also all stated what they wanted to become when they grew up.
