Lucas Viera– Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – New LRHS varsity football head coach Scott Paravicini shared his thoughts on the time he has spent so far with his new team.
With the spring football starting soon this year, Paravicini has worked on building a relationship with the Mustangs.
When Paravicini arrived, he was impressed by the team’s values.
Paravicini said, “I think what stood out to me at first was the work ethics of each player and the way they pushed each other in the weight room.”
Other than adding in new schemes and making small tweaks, Paravicini plans on continuing to build upon the foundation he inherited from the previous coach.
With the Mustangs going 6-4 last season, Paravicini and the team will focus on reaching playoff contention this season.
Paravicini also wants to improve the experience of those on the team.
He said, “We are just looking to make successful experiences for the players in our program, we want them to remember the time they spent in the program for years to come.”

As a former football LRHS player Paravicini feels it is important to pass down the values that made him enjoy his high school football career.
He said, “The main point of emphasis I have tried to push with the boys is that we will be a family.”
Paravicini began his coaching journey after playing football at Warner University.
Paravicini spent time coaching at Bradenton Christian School prior to coming to LRHS.
