Girls lacrosse season is over at LRHS.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS Girls Lacrosse season has come to an end.

Their season ended last week at Steinbrenner, the first round of regionals, where the girls lost 21-0.

The girls will be having their banquet on May 3 to celebrate their 11-7 season.

Coach Blair Woods is excited about next year’s season, where they will be playing hard teams to challenge themselves.

Woods said, “I am so proud of the girls and what they accomplished this season. I can’t wait to see what the next season holds.”

Senior Sara Cestero said, “I am sad that it’s the end of my lacrosse career, but I am super proud of the team being the first girls’ team to make it to regionals in the LRHS lacrosse program.”

The next girl’s lacrosse season starts in January 2024.  Mustangs interested in joining the lacrosse program next year are urged to be aware of updates.
