(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) students started Cambridge International Certificate of Education exams Tuesday.

AICE is a set of challenging college-level classes for high school students. It was developed by Cambridge Assessment, a non-profit, non-teaching department of the University of Cambridge in England.

Students met in the school courtyard at 7:30 a.m. to take their exams in the gymnasium. They had to bring pens as they weren’t allowed to use pencils.

AICE Student senior Chris Galli said. “The AICE test was easy, and they gave us interesting topics to choose from.”

Students are to return to the gym at 7:30 on Thursday, Apr. 27 to take Paper Number Two.
