Josie Plakyda- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – With summer approaching, it can be difficult for senior Mustangs to stay motivated during the end of the year.
Some current seniors hope their advice can guide underclassmen.
LRHS senior CJ Tufano said, “It’s smart to keep a planner with all your assignments and exam dates so you can remember to study for those big tests ahead of time. Also try to work ahead as much as you can so the days become easier as we get closer to summer.”
Senior Marc Ash said, “Keep your end goal in mind knowing you’ve worked hard to get here and you’ll be in college soon. It’s the final stretch.”
Senior Mustang’s last day of school is still undecided.
Mustangs are scheduled to graduate on May 17 at Bradenton’s LECOM park.

Advanced Placement (AP) exams start the first week of May.
Senior Andrew Deppen said, “I’m nervous about AP exams so I’ve been studying pretty hard with the mindset that we’ll get out of school right after. It’ll all be worth it when we get to summer, and we’ll miss these days in the future.”
