(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Today, April 11, seniors gathered for one of the last senior assemblies of the year.
Senior advisor Ann Fleury covered graduation information and prom details. Jacy Good and Steve Johnson made an appearance to discuss the importance of distracted driving.
Dress code for graduation for girls are sundresses and any shoes, however any heels must be a wedge, regular high heels are not allowed and Mustangs will be asked to change.
Boys dress code are nice shirts and nice shorts, pants are allowed. Any shoes for boys are also allowed.
There will only be 10 tickets available to each graduate with no extras.
On Friday, April 21 all seniors will have a senior privilege early release at 10:11 a.m. Students will receive a permission slip signed by Ms. Fleury on Monday, April 17 in their first period and is required to give the slip to administration when leaving early on Friday.
If the slip is lost, you will be able to receive a second with a charge of $5.

“The meeting from today answered many questions about graduation and the day of prom that I’ve been wanting to know,” said senior Alyssa Gonzalez.
Jacy Good spoke and shared her story and reminded Mustangs how being on your phone while driving can not only harm you, but can also effect an innocent person.
Good shared her traumatic story of getting into a car accident, suffering numerous injuries, and losing both of her parents in the accident.
She was joined by her husband, Steve Johnson and he shared his point of view and his experience of losing his, at the time, girlfriends’ parents at such a young age.
