Szalkai won a silver key for her painting, The Confrontation, and honorable mention for her ceramics and glass piece, A Severed Head.

She said, “I was shocked that I won and exited to get recognition. I liked looking at the art from years before. “

Neff won honorable mention for her Ceramics and Glass piece, Achilles War.

She said, “The helmet was a really fun project to do, and the glaze turned out just how I wanted it, it was a really enjoyable experience to find out I won honorable mention and I’m looking forward to doing it again next year.”

Divinagracia won honorable mention for her Ceramics and Glass piece, Fragile Angel.

“It was my first project, and it represents gaining and losing confidence. The breaking of the ceramic piece’s goes with losing confidence and then when the pieces come back together that would be like getting it back again,” said Divinagracia.
