Gianna Heinemann – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS girls varsity beach volleyball team lost to The Classical Academy of Sarasota 3-2.
Their next game is at home against Southeast Bradenton on Tuesday, April 11.
LRHS sophomore Eliza Lander said, “Even though we lost we do not let it get to us, we will train harder each practice and improve on things we are lacking in.”
Mustangs freshman Kora Yanes said, “This is my first year playing beach volleyball, so I am still adjusting to all the rules and everything. I know we cannot win every game but if we try our hardest that is all that matters.”

Senior Kayli Littlejohn said, “This is my last year playing beach volleyball and I want to make it the best season yet. My goal is to train my hardest, stay focused, and hopefully have an amazing season.”
The Mustangs are 3-3 on the year. Their next scheduled game is 4 p.m. April 11 against Southeast High.
