(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys weightlifting team received successful results at last week’s district meet.
Logan Borcsane, Tyler Lakin, Jacob Torrey, and Dylan Letaw all received first place medals for their efforts, which had a tremendous impact for the team
The team placed second in the traditional division and third in the Olympic division.
Borcsane said, “I felt good about the meet and how I lifted, getting first place for the first time felt really good as well.”

The team feels they’ve prepared well and are ready for the task. “Regionals will be another challenge, but I’m confident we will do good,” Borcsane added.
A total of 16 lifters qualified for regionals that will take place this Friday at Lakeland High School.
