(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Friday, March 24, LRHS’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed in the middle school and high school state conference in Orlando, Florida.
Two Mustangs came home with a first-place victory in website design –

These students qualify to compete in the FBLA national conference, which is scheduled for June 27-30 in Atlanta, Georgia.
“The competition was amazing as you constantly got to make new friends while learning the ins and outs of the business world to be successful in your future,” said junior Noah Jenkins, an FBLA member who attended the conference.

LRHS business teacher and FBLA adviser Sharelies Rodriguez, stated “It was an amazing opportunity for our FBLA mustangs. They were able to compete, meet new students, learn, and have fun. Every single one of them were on their best behavior and really took advantage of the opportunity that was given to them. I am very proud of them for making The Ranch shine the way they did.
“Looking at them during the conference made me really happy and I am looking forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future,” she continued.
