Jordyn Patterson – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs will have the opportunity to tour the Manatee Technical College (MTC) East campus during school hours April 12. The last day to sign up for the trip is Monday.  

Mustangs who are interested in Allied Health, Health Science, Allied Health, Health Science, Law, Public Safety and Security, or Salon Services training are encouraged to participate.

MTC has over 50 programs and offers more career training than any technical college in Florida. Their curriculum includes career certificates, applied technology, and apprenticeship programs.

LRHS College and Career adviser Dr. Carmen Purpus said, “Each program is led by supportive faculty and administrators who provide coursework that incorporates both academic and occupational applications.”

Mustangs will walk over with Purpus during second period on April 12.

To sign up for the tour, Mustangs can stop by the LRHS guidance office and use the sign-up list.
