(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Lakewood Singers and a select group from the Symphonic Orchestra are going to Music in the Parks at Universal.
Orchestra teacher Thomas Durante said, “This is my first field trip as a teacher and I’m excited to have the opportunity for growth with the students.”
The Mustangs will leave on Friday morning to drive up to Orlando for their competitions.
The choir performs at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The orchestra will follow at 9:40 a.m. at Liberty High School.
Durante continued, “We are excited to have some fun and bonding time.”
The LRHS orchestra is the only orchestra playing at this competition.
Last year, the choir got an overall Superior score with student conductors.
