Ethan Kranert – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS esports team will have a meeting at 2:30 p.m. on March 24 in room 922.

As the Electonic Gaming Foundation’s (EGF) Spring season continues, the club’s adviser is holding a meeting on the Friday after spring break.

The spring season started on Feb. 13 and runs until May 1.

National finals will be held at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports on Jun. 15.

The members play games such as Rocket League and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.

During the meeting, Mustangs will discuss topics related to the club and the rest of the season.

LRHS esports coach and reading teacher Kari Keech-Babcock said, “I’m very excited about our upcoming meeting. It is our first regularly scheduled meeting on campus, and we hope to continue having them once a month (possibly twice a month).

“For this meeting, we have a more relaxed agenda so that players can get to know each other and spend more time building an on-campus presences. I’m hoping to have games at this meeting and more interactive activities,” continued Keech-Babcock.
