The LRHS SGA volleyball tournament was a new event this year

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) will soon release applications for Mustangs to be a part of next year’s class.

Applications will be released on Monday, March 20 and will be due on Friday, Apr. 7. Mustangs must submit a completed application and two teacher recommendations.

Interviews will then be conducted by SGA adviser Tommy Cuervo and a small number of other teachers.

SGA is looking for Mustangs who are outgoing, motivated, and want to promote school spirit around campus.

Cuervo said, “We are looking forward to hosting classic events such as Clash of the Classes, the Halloweenie Roast, and others, as well as adding more new events like the Kickoff Cookout that we hosted this year.”

“The new members will be very involved in planning events for next year,” he continued.

Mustangs will find out if they got in during mid to late April.
