Olivia Ryan – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity softball team had three games this week.
The girls started the week away at Parrish High School.
They played on Tuesday, Mar. 7, suffering their second loss of the season.
The team also played Windermere High School on Wednesday, Mar. 8
The girls battled it out for eight innings but took the loss 5-4.
Sophomore Olivia Shepard said, “This past game showed us that we need to fight much harder. While it is hard to accept the struggle, it fuels us to make us better. We are a different team then we were a year ago!”

Their next game is scheduled against Braden River High School on Thursday night here at LRHS.
Junior Grace Shaw-Rockey said, “I am excited to against our rivalry team. We didn’t get to play them last year so the game will be intense.”
