(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS’s Entrepreneurship program/course is looking for new members.
The year-long course known as Incubator Edu is part of the international marketing class. Mustangs learn all the tools they need to open their own businesses.
“Being a member is very beneficial for students that want to learn more about business,” said LRHS career and technology teacher Sharelies Rodriguez.
Students learn real-life skills in the classroom, take industry certification, and have mentors and coaches to guide them throughout the course.
Each mentor is a successful member of our community with a variety of different business backgrounds serving as volunteer coaches.
Students go through a process of learning how to design and launch a business. This course allows entrepreneurship and new ideas to become a reality.
They learn the startup process where they can form a hypothesis about a certain business concept, test their hypothesis, and continually learn and improve their business skills.

“The knowledge they obtain will open the door for them to open a business or work for one after they take the class,” continued Rodriguez.
This course is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors that have completed marketing essentials and want to further their understanding of business and how it works.
