Sydney Oostendorp– Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Saturday, Feb. 25 Lakewood Leaders volunteered at the Freedom Elementary Father-Daughter Dance.
These volunteers were in charge of “stations” at the dance. These stations included food, drinks, desserts, and even a station where fathers and daughters could buy a paper rose for one dollar.
These roses were used along with the tickets for a fundraiser.
There were games, music to dance to, a dance battle, and many activities to keep these kids occupied during this dance.
Sophomore Nick Drizos said, “It was great seeing the fathers enjoy quality time with their daughters.”
