(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS junior Mustangs will be taking the Junior (Reportable) SAT on Wednesday, Mar. 1 in the Media Center, Gymnasium, Dance Room, room 729, and room 730.

Mustangs can find out where they are testing at the bulletin board outside the school media center.

The testing dates for the Junior class’s SAT are as follows:

  • Mar. 1: All standard-time students
  • Apr. 4-12: All students who need extended time (50 – 100%) or other accommodations.

The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.

According to the Princeton Review, “The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student’s readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.”

College admissions officers often review standardized test scores in addition to high school Grade Point Average (GPA) and more, so it is important to try hard on these tests.
