(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) -Course registration forms for the 2023-24 school year were distributed to Mustangs this week and are due this Friday, Mar. 3.

Mustangs can turn in their forms to their first period teacher or the guidance office at any time during the school day.

Today Mustangs reported to their alpha homeroom to receive their forms.

Anyone who did not receive a registration form may pick it up at the guidance office.

Teachers will assist in filling out the forms.

Guidance counselor Melissa Alter recommends Mustangs to make sure they check the prerequisites and course descriptions before choosing a class.

Alter said, “Counselors can’t meet with everyone who has questions before March 3, mainly because we’re at middle schools next Tuesday and Thursday and proctoring the SAT on Wednesday, but we’ll meet with students individually in April and May.”

Dual enrollment classes are available and are listed on the form as MAC 1105/MAC1147 (Math), ENC 1102 (English) and AMH 2010/2020 (US History).

Some courses require students to complete applications which can be found on the school website.

Even if the student plans to take courses not listed on the registration form, they are still required to fill out the form as if they will be at LRHS for all seven periods and it will be adjusted as needed before they leave for summer.
