(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity girls flag football team had their first pre-season tournament Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice facility against the Tampa Catholic High School Crusaders.

On Monday, Feb. 20, the Mustangs got to meet a few current players of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including safety Antoine Winfield, Jr.

Junior Sienna Esposito said, “great experience to be able to go to the stadium and have it open for us and be able to meet players.”

The game against the Crusaders was a learning experience for the Mustangs. With a 12-0 loss the Mustang were slightly disappointed but happy to have had the experience.
