Savannah Adams – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Registration forms for the upcoming school year will be handed out on Monday, Feb. 27.

Mustangs will report to their alpha homerooms at 7:30 a.m. to receive their forms.

A list of assigned homerooms will be posted around the campus.

Teachers will assist in filling out the forms.

LRHS school counselor Melissa Alter advises Mustangs to be aware of the requirements for the classes they want to take.

Alter said, “Get teacher input and read Curriculum/Course Guide—checking prerequisites and course descriptions.”

Sophomore Nadia Gandhi said, “I can’t believe that it’s already time to register for classes for next year. It’s crazy to think about what next year holds.”

Registration forms are due Friday, Mar. 3, but students may turn them in at any time before then.

Mustangs can turn in their forms to their first period teacher or the guidance office at any time during the school day.

Alter continued, “Counselors can’t meet with everyone who has questions before March 3, mainly because we’re at middle schools next Tuesday and Thursday and proctoring the SAT on Wednesdays, but we’ll meet with students individually in April/May.

“Fill out the form as if you’ll be at LRHS for 7 periods and it will be adjusted as needed before you leave for summer.”
