(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The 2022-23 senior handbook is now available on the LRHS website under the “Seniors” tab.

The Senior Handbook is a resource made by Manatee County for seniors, rising seniors, and parents to help provide guidance during their senior year.

District Career Pathways Coordinator Erin Koerper made the senior handbook.  She said, “The Senior Handbook is important for Seniors to review the handbook along with parents as it helps students plan for post-graduation.

“The Senior Handbook helps regardless of whether a student will be attending a 4-year University, 2-year college, technical college, Work force or Military. It is meant to help ALL Seniors navigate their Senior year and how to plan for their future,” continued Koerper.

It contains important information about Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and American College Test (ACT) dates, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information, a senior checklist, Bright Futures requirements, and other important information needed for seniors to have a successful year.

Koerper thinks that the most important section of the handbook is the checklist, it helps keep seniors on track during their senior year.
