(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- As the Spring LRHS esports season draws near, members are preparing for the games ahead.
The spring esports season starts Monday. National finals are planned for June 15 at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fl.
The Electronic Gaming Federation (EGF) is a competition organization that the club has been using since last year.
The games that EGF are offering for this season are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Rocket League.

The Spring season will function similarly to the Fall season, with final standings based on total points.
LRHS Esports coach and reading teacher Kari Keech-Babcock said, “Nationals are scheduled for June 16-18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World. I’m hopeful that we will place this season but either way I’m excited to see the club develop on different levels!”
