(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The annual LRHS Kindness Challenge has ended and a winner has been announced.
Mustangs were challenged last week to cross 28 activities of kindness off their “checklists” and submit them to win a prize. Items on this year’s checklist included things like “pick up trash” and “make a new friend.”
This year’s winner was junior Kaylie Adams.
“I made it my goal to complete the entire thing. And I am very glad that I did. I now sit with a new friend group at lunch; and I got quite a few smiles with the waves,” said Adams.

LRHS Assistant Principal Thomas Bellantonio said the Kindness Challenge is a fun way to show appreciation for those around you.
Bellantonio said, “Our hope is to make kindness more intentional and to see how it can positively affect those around our campus and community.”
