Sophia Bayindiryan – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS wrestling team had a successful tournament at Brandon High School last weekend.
The varsity team placed fifth out of 32 schools at the Tony Ippolito Tournament.
Mustang head coach Pat Ancil said, “The Tony Ippolito Tournament at Brandon HS was a big success for your Mustang wrestlers as we placed 5th out of 32 teams with eight wrestlers placing in the top 8 in their weight classes! Great job fellas!”

The varsity Mustangs’ next meet will is the scheduled Manatee County championships at 9 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 11 at Parrish High School.
The following weekend, they will also compete in the District 7 championship at 9 a.m. on Friday Feb. 17 at Hillsborough Dr. Lennard High School.
