(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) are joining thousands of other students to celebrate National FBLA week this week.

Events will recognize the connections FBLA forms among its members and will emphasize how FBLA prepares its members to be community-minded business leaders.

LRHS marketing teacher and FBLA adviser Sharelies Rodriguez said, “National FBLA Week activities will include online panels on how to understand the current job market, a webinar on financial literacy, and a fundraising challenge to support charities across the country.”

Mustangs have planned special events such as Spirit Monday, Kindness Tuesday, Celebration Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday, and Futures Friday.

Rodriguez continued, “FBLA Week falls during National Career & Technical Education Month, which highlights the impact of career and technical education (CTE) on student success, workforce development, and the economy.”

FBLA President & Chief Executive Officer Alexander T. Graham said, “FBLA Week is all about celebrating the powerful impact career and technical education has on our students, both in and beyond the classroom.”
