(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Monday LRHS held a freshman orientation, showcasing all the clubs and activities the school has to offer.
Each participating club had a table that they decorated and featured representatives to speak to parents and upcoming freshman. Club members had the opportunity to show all that their club had to offer.
“Since our club is new, I think that this event really helps advertise it and bring new people to it,” said senior and founder of EmpowHer Tamlyn Leatt.
To motivate incoming Mustangs to visit several clubs, they were given papers to get signatures from six different clubs, then turn it in to win a prize.
LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist held a presentation in the auditorium to introduce the academic and extracurricular options offered at LRHS.
“The reason we are holding this event tonight is to show the upcoming freshman the programs we have and all that our school has to offer,” Dahlquist said.
