(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity basketball team lost 52-41 to the Braden River Pirates last Friday.

The Mustangs had their Senior night against Braden River.

Seniors Trey Holweger and Isaac Ashley walked at halftime.

Ashley said, “Even though this season has been more difficult, I’ve enjoyed the experiences I had playing basketball at Lakewood Ranch.”

The Mustangs continued to struggle after the untimely mid-season departure of their head coach.

The team now holds a record of 2-18.

With only two games left in the season, the team hopes to end on a good note.
