(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) succeeded in a district 18 conference over the weekend.
They competed in the District 18 Conference at Southeast High School, which ended this weekend with the Awards Ceremony.
LRHS business teacher and FBLA adviser Sharelies Rodriguez said, “District level competitions are important because they are an opportunity for students to learn more and develop new skills.
“But the most important aspect of our District Conference is that it determines the students that qualify to compete at State Level,” continued Rodriguez.
Once Mustangs reach state level, they compete in different business themed events such as accounting, advertising, business law, economics, entrepreneurship, journalism, publication design, sports and entertainment management, etc.
