(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS is hosting an Advanced Studies Showcase open house from 5:45-7 p.m. Jan. 30 to give incoming Mustangs a sneak peek into what goes on inside the walls of LRHS.
It will begin in the auditorium with a guest speaker from the College Board and then move to the courtyard.
The showcase will promote LRHS clubs, activities, and advanced academic programs for incoming freshmen.
LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist said, “It’s an opportunity to tell people about the great things going on at this school.”
LRHS Student Support Specialist David Sheppard said there will be a special emphasis on academics and activities.

“Parents will be able to talk to Advanced Placement (AP) teachers and get to know what’s going on around the school on a further level,” he said.
LRHS clubs and sports programs will also be at the show case for incoming parents and students to talk to and learn more about.
