(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS girls lacrosse program has scheduled tryouts Monday, Jan. 23.

The tryouts will begin at 3 p.m. on the lacrosse practice fields located behind the school.

Girls Lacrosse Coach Blair Woods said, “Season is here at last, please make sure all forms are turned into the athletic office this week.”

Players must turn in their physical forms and athletic forms in order to tryout.

The last day of tryouts it do be determined, with the possibility of going until Jan 27.

 Players must bring cleats, mouthguard, and any uniforms or school equipment that was not turned in last year.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys lacrosse team are hosting tryouts for the upcoming season beginning at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23.

Tryouts will be held on the practice field near the bus loop.

The last day to try out will be Jan. 26.

Players are expected to bring their own equipment to tryouts such as a helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, cleats, and a stick.

Head lacrosse coach Christian Dombovari said, “If a student does not have something we might have some loaner equipment.”

Prospective players will be tested on their skills, attitude, and knowledge of the game.

Teams will be determined throughout the week.

Dombovari said, “I’m very excited for the new season. We have a motivated group that are ready to start the season who are eyeing for a district championship.”
