Michelle Rodriguez – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Technology Student Association (TSA) competed at the West Regional competition last Saturday.

The team brought about 40 students to the competition.

The following members placed in these categories:

  • First place
    • Debating Technology – Junior Emily Salambash and Sophomore Michelle Rodriguez
  • Second place
    • Essays on technology – senior Anna Miller
    • System Control – Sophomores Eduardo Zoppe, Austin Bruce, senior Sara Huzar
    • Dragster – senior josh Holler
    • CAD Engineering – senior Josh Holler
  • Third place
    • Extemporaneous speech ; Junior Natalie Cooksey
    • Prepared presentation – Sophomore Michelle Rodriguez

Bruce said, “It was a fun competition. I didn’t think we’d get second place for our event, but I’m grateful.”

LRHS vocational teacher Robert Collier, TV production teacher Bryon Stedman, engineering teacher Bryan Richards, and fine arts teacher Hannah Legere all attended and supervised the team.
