Sophia Bayindiryan – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS wrestling has its first home meet of the season at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The meet will take place in the LRHS gymnasium against Parrish Community High School.

Senior Connor Tomelden said, “I’ve been wrestling since I was a freshman and I think this year we’ll be able to make some noise with our lineup this season and it being my last year, I want to leave it all on the mat and make it our best.”

They recently placed second in the Lemon Bay duals on Saturday, Dec. 3 and plan to continue advancing both individually and as a team for states.

Senior Evin Leavy said, “I am excited for our first home meet of the season, I think we are going to do really well this year and I hope to beat Parrish.”
