Jared Baker – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS band is performing their annual PRISM concert on Thursday, Dec 8 in the auditorium.

The concert contains performances from each section of the Mustangs Marching Band, along with the percussion and guard classes. There will be performances from the symphonic band, wind ensemble, and both jazz classes.

There will be a raffle to help pay for band fees, ornaments, apparel, and a bake sale. Baskets will be auctioned off in front of each marching band section.

The band got fourth place in the state championship over Thanksgiving break.

LRHS band director John Schindler said, “I feel good about the competition, you never know how you’re going to do against some of those groups from as far down as Miami.”

This will be their last performance before their scheduled trip to New Orleans to perform at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
