(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS kicked off a Holiday Spirit week Monday with red v. green day.

Today, Mustangs got the opportunity to pick a team color and represent their team by dressing in that color.  The week was organized by the LRHS Student Government Association (SGA).

Some Mustangs went all out to represent their team and have really gotten into the holiday spirit.

Junior Tess Lippincott said, “It has helped me think about getting through the rest of the school year and exam week and looking forward to the holidays, so it’s a really good reminder that the holidays are right around the corner!”

Red vs. green day was the first day this week that Mustangs can celebrate.

Tomorrow, Mustangs can pay $3 to wear pajama pants. The money will go to Cancer for Kids.  Participating students must still follow the school dress code.
