Maggie Sugalski – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The annual LRHS canned food drive officially ended on Wednesday.
LRHS collected a total of 2052 nonperishable items.
Math teacher and Lakewood Leaders club adviser Meghan Sugalski said, “This is not as good as most years, but we had a lot of giving opportunities recently due to Hurricane Ian.
“The winning class, that brought in 201 cans, is Mr. (Jacob) Garfield’s first period! Congratulations Mr. Garfield’s first period,” she continued.

Mustangs have been holding this food drive for over 20 years.
Sugalski thanked everyone who donated and facilitated the food drive.
