(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) –At least some of the success of the LRHS boys golf team is a family affair.

On the team are sophomore Parker Severs and senior Preston Severs.

The brothers have been long-term players and have been golfing for a long time.

The LRHS boys golf team went to the Florida State Golf Championship on Tuesday, November 8 and Wednesday, November 9 in Orlando.

“It was a great experience that I won’t forget. Playing with my brother in his final year was a lot of fun,” Parker said.

Preston is the senior captain for LRHS this year. He played his final game in the Mustangs polo at states, finishing fifth overall as a team.

Preston said, “The team this year did a really good job this year. This season is one I’m going to remember.”

Parker said, “It was pretty cool getting to compete and represent LRHS.”
