Andrew Deppen – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Marching Mustangs won the Grand Championship at the Braden River Florida Marching Band Coalition (FMBC) Regional Saturday.

After achieving straight superiors at their Music Performance Assessment (MPA), the Mustangs went on to succeed.

LRHS Band and Performing Arts Director John Schindler said, “They continued to perfect our show and worked through some individual segments to prepare for the competition.”

Schindler said the Mustangs earned top awards for best music, best visual, best general effect, best percussion and best color guard.

Schindler continued, “We increased our level of achievement.”

The Mustangs will compete at Seminole High School this Saturday for their regional final.
