Bella Moscone – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS band plans to attend the Sugar Bowl at the end of the year.
The Sugar bowl trip will take place Dec. 28 – Jan. 1 of the 2022-2023 school year. The band plans to play in New Orleans’ bowl game festivities.
The band has been able to fund this program with the help of fundraisers like car washes.
“The band members going on the trip will perform a massed band halftime performance with the other high school bands that are attending from around the country,” Said LRHS band director John Schindler.

“Students will also get to experience historic New Orleans while on the trip and get to visit several sites in the city,” Schindler added.
The band will also be participating in the Sugar Bowl parade during their trip.
