Clothing donations from LRHS for Hurricane Ian victims

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Lakewood Leaders’ Hurricane Ian relief clothing drive came to a successful end last week.

The last day to donate items was on Friday, Oct 28.

A total of 98 bags were donated to the effort.

The classroom that donated the most clothes won a free pizza party.  The winner, although not a formal fourth period, is the drama department.

Lakewood Leaders adviser Meghan Sugalski said, “The Drama department wanted to surpass everyone with their donations. They then turned down the pizza party and said to donate the cost to the Hurricane Ian fund.”

All donations were delivered on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The recipients were very appreciative and thankful for all the clothing. 

Sugalski continued, “No matter the winner, we give thanks to all Mustangs who were gracious enough to donate. Your efforts were not ignored and your generosity is admired.”
