(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity football team beat the Bayshore Bruins at 7 p.m. last Friday.
The final score was 68-0.
With the Mustangs coming off a win the previous week, the game helped increase their momentum for the final regular season game.
LRHS Head Coach Rashad West said the Mustangs “did a good job of playing at our level and not the level of our opponent.”
The Mustangs will play the Booker Tornadoes for their senior night game at 7 p.m. on Friday at home.
“This week is Senior night; it shouldn’t be difficult to motivate them to play. This could be the last high school game for a lot of them,” West continued.

This game will decide if the Mustangs can advance to the state playoffs.
Senior Brian Areco said, “As a senior this game is important to me and I’m confident that this will not be the last game of my senior season. We will do everything we can to win and go to the playoffs this year.”
