(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS psychology club is great chance for Mustangs interested in the field to get together with others who share the same interest.

Club vice-president junior Ramzia Sorathia said, “The purpose of the psych club is to promote and express how people work in the psychology field, as well as help AP psych students with their assignments when needed.”

The meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month after school in room 525.

In the meetings, members create positive messages to promote mental health and psychology.

Although the club does not currently offer volunteer opportunities, members can receive hours by creating PowerPoints displaying the topics.

“This club not only looks amazing on resumes, but it allows you to work together with people that love psychology as much as you do, and it allows for people to learn more for their class,” continued Sorathia.
