




Dakota Wernet – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS will enjoy an active Halloween Monday.
Mustangs will have the opportunity to dress up in costumes for Halloween on Monday, Oct. 31.
To participate, Mustangs will pay a $5 fee to the Student Government Association (SGA) or Hope Ambassadors.
All money donated will go towards Hurricane Ian relief funds.
Mustangs will receive a wristband that indicates they are participating.
All costumes must be in dress code, including no masks and no weapons.
Senior Autumn Nix said, “I am very excited to dress up with my friend because we have never had to opportunity in the past, especially it being my senior year.”
Meanwhile there are treats for the LRHS staff and faculty.

SGA is hosting a Halloweenie lunch, featuring hot dogs and brats, for faculty.
The LRHS Parent Association (PA) is providing teachers Halloween candy “Boo-bags.”
“This is a small token of our appreciation for everything the staff does on a daily basis,” said PA Vice-president Jillanne Conelias.
On Friday, Mini-Mustangs wore their costumes and participated in a campus parade and trick or treat.
Mini-Mustang teacher aide Catherine Schutte said, “The staff always ask if they will see the Minis for Halloween. It is a happy time for everyone – even the high school students love seeing our Minis on parade.”
