(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This Halloween season, Mustangs who donate to the school’s hurricane relief fund will be allowed to wear Halloween costumes.

On Monday, Oct. 31, Mustangs can pay $5 to wear a costume of their choice.

Mustangs who are participating will receive a bracelet that indicates that they can wear a costume.

The LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) and Hope Ambassadors are holding the event to help hurricane victims locally, specifically students on campus who have been affected.

Sophomore Michelle Wagner said, “This is a great way to get donations for the victims of the hurricane.”

Junior Ainsley Ellis said, “I think it’s a great opportunity for students to have some fun at school. All the money is going to the hurricane relief funds, which is such a great cause.”

Costumes must still be in dress code. No blood, gore, masks or weapons are permitted. Hats are allowed.
