(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Mini-Mustangs are having a costume parade to celebrate Halloween.

The parade is scheduled for  the courtyard area around 9:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.

Mini-Mustangs is the school’s voluntary kindergarten program and has been taught by Catherine Schutte for 10 years. Schutte has been teaching at LRHS since 2013 and taught Early Childhood Education for 14 years.

“LRHS staff always ask if they will see the Minis for Halloween, it is a happy time for everyone, even the high school students love seeing our Minis on parade.

“And of course, the Minis feel like VIP’s, staff and students are so kind to them, they get a ton of candy, and everyone makes a fuss over them, they love that attention,” said Schutte.

“The Minis look adorable all dressed up in their costumes, some years we even have some staff members that would dress up too,” she continued.

After the parade, the kids meet their parents for a Trunk or Treat and a party that the parents organized themselves.

“It is such a fun day for everyone,” Schutte added.
