(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Hurricane Ian clothing drive has collected 20 bags of clothing so far.
The drive began last Wednesday.
Mustangs were asked to turn in clothing items to their fourth period teachers.
While the drama department is not a designated fourth period, they are the top donors in the school.
Lakewood Leaders is a community service club on campus. Adviser Meghan Sugalski said, “I was happy to drive half a van full of clothes and shoes south Saturday morning. The people were very appreciative.”
The fourth period class that collects the most items will win a pizza party.

“I am excited to donate to Lee and Charlotte County. It’s a great cause and helps a community that you could know personally,” Sugalski continued.
The last chance for Mustangs to donate is Wednesday, Oct. 26.
